This technology-intensive course provides students with an understanding of the impact of technology on their lives and on the world around them. This course will instruct students in the theoretical and practical use of technology relevant to their academic discipline, other university work, and their everyday lives. Students will have the opportunity to use technology skillfully, and to critically evaluate the implications of various technologies on society. Students will develop research techniques using the Internet, perform Data Analysis, and study current and emerging technologies. Students will analyze how technology affects communication, social interaction and collaboration.
