ENSC 210L - Introduction to Geology

This course focuses on Earth’s geologic resources and how they influence human’s use of the physical world. Topics include plate tectonics, earthquakes, rock and mineral formation, weathering and erosion, groundwater and surface water, glaciation, stratigraphy and geologic history. Computer applications, such as Google Earth will be used to enhance student data collection skills used to interpret topographic and geologic features of the earth and earth systems.
