FASH 325N - Private Label Development 3 Credit(s)
Non Liberal Arts Using the knowledge they have in research principles and theories from prerequisite study of product development, retailing, textiles, computer assisted design, and other merchandising courses, students will develop the knowledge of the history of private label brands, and will solve problems from the perspective of a buyer/product developer for a retailer. Topics include defining the customer, brand development or expansion, and understanding gross margin.
