The elements of conversational French are pursued more intensely and thoroughly and adapted to various cultural settings. A strong emphasis is placed on speaking and on extending reading and listening skills to authentic French material. Two weekly one-hour sessions of audio and video practice in the Language Center are required. Closed to heritage speakers of French and students from countries where French is commonly spoken.
