Liberal Arts This class examines the history of Afghanistan from the era of the Silk Roads to the present. The major themes this course will address are: cross cultural exchanges, formation of national boundaries, imperialism, nationalism, war, and revolution. This course, despite its concentration on the geographic space of Afghanistan, is transnational and interdisciplinary in design.
