HIST 325L - History of American Feminism 3 Credit(s)
Liberal Arts This course will examine the development of social movements dedicated to women’s rights in the United States, examining the connection between feminist ideas and activities and the larger historical context. Attention will be paid to the changing positions taken by feminists on such issues as: motherhood, sexuality, race, class, work, relationships with men, and social justice.
Prerequisite(s): Six credits in history
