COM 436L - North Road Communications Experiential Learning 1 Credit(s)
Liberal Arts This course is an experiential learning practicum available to students who have been accepted to participate in Marist University’s North Road Communications (NRC) Agency that involves meaningful Community-Based Learning experiences which occur outside of the traditional classroom structure. Students earn credit for weekly submissions of work completed in service of NRC non-profit community clients, for attending NRC weekly full-firm meetings, for attending Team meetings, and for communicating frequently and professionally with Account Executives, Co-Account Executives, and NRC Directors. Students also earn credit for presenting the work they completed during the End-of-Semester Showcase.
