Non Liberal Arts This course introduces students to a variety of painting materials and techniques. Students explore approaches ranging from traditional to contemporary methods, working with still-life arrangements and unconventional subject matter. The curriculum covers color theory, form, value, composition, and atmospheric perspective. Regular critique sessions help students develop vocabulary for describing and analyzing visual art while receiving feedback on their work. The course emphasizes experimentation and creative problem-solving throughout the artistic process.
