Non Liberal Arts This course introduces students to the craft and conceptual foundations of book arts. Students learn to use specialized book art materials, tools, equipment, and processes. The curriculum blends digital and traditional approaches, allowing students to develop narratives focused on their individual interests and artistic practice. Regular critique sessions help students build a vocabulary for describing and analyzing books as artistic objects while receiving feedback on their work. Throughout the course, students explore the intersection of visual storytelling, craftsmanship, and personal expression.
