Liberal Arts This course will introduce the psychological science of developmental disorders from a developmental perspective. Topics covered will include prevalence and incidence rates, assessment and diagnostic processes, symptoms and co-occurring conditions, treatments and interventions, and challenges across the lifespan of many disorders. The course will also discuss research methodologies typically used in the field of developmental disorders. In addition, students will gain experience with behavioral observations, behavioral coding, and data analysis of individuals with and without developmental disorders.
Prerequisite(s): PSYC 101L , PSYC 351L
