ART 220L - History of Photography 3 Credit(s)
Liberal Arts This course will examine the history of photography and the important role this medium of expression has held since its “discovery” in 1839. A chronological approach to the exploration of this medium will be used to demonstrate the important contributions that this art form has made to the history of art. The use of photography as an expression of humanistic, religious, and social values will also be considered. (Fulfills the Core/LS requirement for Fine Arts.)
