ART 431N - 3D Modeling and Visualization

Dual Listed as MDIA 431L  This course focuses on the creation of 3-dimensional computer generated models used for 2D and 3D printing, games, and animation. Students will explore the processes of this art form, including modeling, texturing, shading, rigging, scene layout, and rendering, in order to create meaningful and unique visualizations. Techniques for character rigging and simulating physical space will be explored for preparation of future animation projects.
