CHEM 361L - Thermodynamics & Kinetics 3 Credit(s)
Liberal Arts Treatment of the laws of thermodynamics and the thermodynamic state functions. Application of thermodynamic principles to chemical systems. Methods of analysis and interpretation of chemical kinetic data, and a study of reaction mechanisms and elementary kinetic theories. Some special topics like computational reaction dynamics, surface properties of materials, etc. Two lectures per week.
