Non Liberal Arts Designed to be a professional work-related experience. Provides the student with a practical, hands-on opportunity to apply theory in a professional work setting. Seminar meetings afford students a chance to critically examine the relationship between theory and practice. Successful students will enhance their knowledge of communication theory and skills in a real-life atmosphere under the supervision of practicing professionals in advertising, journalism, multimedia, public relations, radio, television, and film. NOTE: Internships carry general elective credit and may not be used to fulfill communication elective requirements.
