Liberal Arts Students will acquire an understanding of the major approaches informing the study of audience segmentation and analysis. In so doing they will identify the relationship between theory and applied research focusing on academic and professional strategic communication research. Students will also explore the impact of opinions and attitudes on communication messaging and interpretation, and develop the ability to evaluate, analyze, interpret, and present research findings in a theoretically grounded approach to strategic communication.
