Non Liberal Arts This course covers the techniques and procedures used in criminal investigation: survey of instrumentation; identification/processing of trace evidence; use and acceptability of electronic surveillance; and use of informants. The role of the expert witness and special problems in investigations (e.g., organized crime, narcotics traffic, etc.) will also be explored.
