This course is an introduction to basic tools and techniques of digital media design as related to the contemporary fashion industry. Adobe® Illustrator and Photoshop, as universal platforms, are examined in depth. Projects and weekly assignments are designed to give the student an understanding of the differences between these two interfaces and the distinction of their uses as an object/vector oriented program (Illustrator) and an image/raster oriented program (Photoshop). FD & FM majors.
