Non Liberal Arts This course is designed to provide an introduction and overview of the various types of retail organizations. The buying cycle is analyzed as a series of strategic decisions made by retail managers in order to communicate more effectively with their customers through the utilization of multi-channel retailing opportunities and the identification of potential target markets through the analysis of demographics and psychographics. SWOT is introduced as a tool for understanding and positioning retailers in today’s competitive marketplace.
