Liberal Arts Taught in French. Study of North African, West African and Caribbean literatures of French expression in their cultural and historical context. Selections from African and Caribbean filmmakers are also viewed and discussed, along with the current debates surrounding the traditional term “francophonie” and the rise of a “Littérature-monde.” May also be taken abroad.
