Liberal Arts This course examines the historical evolution of warfare with emphasis on the American military experience from the colonial era to the end of the Gulf War. During the course we will focus on leadership in battle, activities at the three levels of war, the relationship of the military establishment to its society, and continuity and change in warfare.
