Non Liberal Arts Kinesiology is the study of musculoskeletal anatomy, posture and movement of the human body. An understanding of the muscular system with regard to origin, insertion, and action of muscles, serves as the basis by which to study planes, axes of movements, the range and quality of functional movements, the actions of levers within the human body, and how muscular contraction affects movements, posture, and gait.
