Non Liberal Arts Areas of discussion include acute and chronic functional responses to exercise. Muscle biomechanics and metabolism, cardiopulmonary and musculoskeletal responses, training techniques, ergogenic aids in sport, and performance at environmental extremes. This course is primarily intended for students majoring in Athletic Training but may also be of interest to students majoring in biology and other health-related areas.
