MATH 120L - Precalculus

Precalculus is an introduction to the basic mathematical skills necessary for the study of calculus. The topics studied include rational expressions, analytic geometry, and the elementary properties of functions including exponential, logarithmic, and trigonometric functions. This course is intended for students who plan to enroll in MATH 241L  but lack the necessary background. Appropriate technology will be selected by the instructor. NOTE: This course may not be taken for credit by students who have completed MATH 241L  or higher courses or their equivalents.

Prerequisite(s): Two years of high school algebra or MATH 108L
