This course introduces the basic ideas and methods of operations research, considering topics selected from linear programming and the simplex method; transportation problems; sensitivity analysis; graphs and networks; CPM; PERT; dynamic programming; game theory; Markov chains; queueing; birth and death processes; inventory theory; simulation; and computer considerations.

Offered When: Biennially in the fall upon sufficient student demand.
