Designed to be a professional work-related experience. Provides the student with a practical, hands-on opportunity to apply theory in a professional work setting. Seminar meetings afford students a chance to critically examine the relationship between theory and practice. Successful students will enhance their knowledge of communication and media theory and skills in a real-life atmosphere under the supervision of practicing professionals in the media industry. NOTE: Internships carry general elective credit and may not be used to fulfill media arts elective requirements.

Offered When: Fall, spring, summer.
Prerequisite(s): Junior standing, permission of Internship Director, and CRDV 100N
