MDIA385N - Directing the Narrative Film 3 Credit(s)
Non Liberal Arts This course introduces students to the unique demands of narrative filmmaking. Students will come to the class with substantial production experience, but will advance to the next level by learning techniques of coverage, continuity, and directing actors. Topics will include pre-production planning including storyboarding, script analysis, and production and location management. Students will produce a number of short scenes. Highly recommended for students planning to produce a narrative film in capping.
Prerequisite(s): MDIA 203L
