A professionally oriented work experience in which the student spends a part- or full-time apprenticeship learning and contributing to the operation of a media-related facility. Completion of major requirements, course prerequisites, departmental screening, and clearance by the facility involved are necessary for participation in the seminar. The student is evaluated at the end of the semester by a facility supervisor and a faculty member who periodically visits the facility where the student spends the senior seminar. . NOTE: Internships carry general elective credit and may not be used to fulfill requirements for the major.
