This elementary voice class is designed to introduce the student to the fundamentals of singing and performance preparation, including singing diction in Italian, IPA, and song interpretation. Singing with a natural sound and a relaxed feeling is encouraged. Class participation is essential and the student is expected to perform in a recital at the end of the semester. Participation in Marist College Singers twice per week is strongly encouraged.
