This course explores beginning choral or instrumental conducting technique, developing best rehearsal and performance practices, while instilling performance etiquette from the podium. Keyboarding and instrumental/vocal pedagogy will also be addressed. Each student will learn how to prepare music for performance. The practical application of music literacy, as well as understanding the cultural context of each song will also be applied.
