The course will examine media coverage of political campaigns; the technology used to release political information; and organizing and implementing campaign strategies. This course analyzes how media coverage of campaigns has evolved over the last six decades, how the emergence of new media and technology has played a role in that evolution, and how these journalistic and technological changes impact candidates’ campaigns.
