This course provides an introduction to the fundamentals of psychopharmacology in relation to behavior. It examines the basic mechanisms of several types of pharmacological agents, which alter mood and behavior. Drugs that have abuse potential and drugs that are used as medication for the treatment of psychological/psychiatric disorders are a special focus.
