Intensive training in the reading and writing of Spanish designed for students who have acquired the language in a home or community environment. Special attention will also be given to developing oral proficiency in standard Spanish. No prior formal study of Spanish is needed to take these courses. They are required for heritage speakers who wish to complete a major/minor in Spanish. A waiver will be granted to heritage speakers of Spanish who have advanced proficiency in the language.
