BUS436N - Selection and Staffing 3 Credit(s)
Non Liberal Arts Staffing is a critical organization function concerned with the acquisition, deployment, and retention of the organization’s workforce. Effective staffing underlies organizational effectiveness because “the people make the place” and labor costs are often the largest organizational cost with poor hiring decisions not easily redone. This course presents students with five staffing models, the importance of staffing strategy, and an opportunity to develop their skills through role playing and practice.
