This three-credit course examines how companies use Mergers & Acquisitions (“M&A”) to create shareholder value and achieve their strategic objectives. The course begins with an exploration of M&A strategies and culminates with developing financial models to evaluate M&A opportunities. This course provides a foundation for students considering a career in corporate finance, private equity, investment banking, consulting, or entrepreneurship.
