ECON403L - Game Theory 3 Credit(s)
Liberal Arts This course is an introduction to game theory: strategic reasoning and behavior when
decision makers are affected not only by their own actions, but also those of others.
We will formally represent strategic situations, and analyze them rigorously. Concepts
such as dominance, Nash equilibrium, backward induction, incomplete information,
adverse selection, and repeated games will be discussed. Examples will be drawn from
economic, political, and business settings.
