MDIA207N - Audio Editing and Mixing for Avid Protocols

This course covers all material from Avid’s Protools 101 course, which is the first course in the official preparation curriculum for the Avid Certified Specialist examination. Through ten lessons and exercises, students learn the Protools interface as well as tools and techniques of sound editing, mixing, and mastering. Topics include creating and mixing multiple tracks, clip editing, recording, and effects. Working with MIDI (Musical Instrument Digital Interface) and plug-in effects is also included. Upon completion of the material, students will sit for the PT 101 examination, the first step toward becoming and Avid Certified Specialist.
