Requirements for a Minor in Applied Artificial Intelligence

Program Description

The Minor in Applied Artificial Intelligence is designed to complement any undergraduate major, offering a multidisciplinary approach to AI education. Students will study fundamental principles and methodologies of AI, gain hands-on experience applying AI tools and techniques across disciplines, and examine the ethical and societal impacts of AI. This program prepares students to navigate, utilize, and contribute to the rapidly evolving landscape of AI.  

 Electives must be chosen keeping in mind the following:

• The 3 electives cannot all be taken from the same discipline
• Students cannot use 100- and 200- level courses already required for their major to satisfy electives
