In this class, growth and development in the fundamentals of singing are fostered. Theories of vocal production and preparation are studied, including diction, song interpretation, and presentation. Class participation is essential and the student is expected to perform in a recital of two foreign-language pieces at the end of the semester. Participation in Marist College Singers twice per week is strongly encouraged.
