EDUC201N - Foundations for Teaching English Language Learners 3 Credit(s)
Non Liberal Arts This course will serve as an introduction to working effectively with students learning English as a new language in school settings. Teacher candidates will review state guiding policies, become familiar with theories of language development and acquisition, and examine methods and best practices for teaching culturally and linguistically diverse students. This is a 3-credit course with 10 hours of fieldwork required.
Prerequisite(s): EDUC 101L
