MATH230L - Operational Models 3 Credit(s)
Liberal Arts This course surveys modern mathematical techniques that have special applicability in business and economics. Among the topics considered are linear programming, including simplex, transportation, and assignment algorithms; queueing theory; simulation; and scheduling techniques. Computer use will be required since the development of mathematical models and the interpretation of results are emphasized. NOTE: This course may not be taken for credit by students who have completed MATH 430L .
